Brook Jurss

I’m Brook, a Photomedia major with a love for natural light portraiture. I’m passionate about capturing love in all of its forms and stages, whether that be between a couple, a parent and child, or for oneself.

My imagery is best described as heartfelt, expressive and crisp. I’m currently undertaking client-based wedding and family sessions, while also exploring personal photographic projects.

To create my photographs, I use a mix of sun-chasing and visual storytelling. I’m a lover of tangibility and the handmade aesthetic, so enjoy taking my final images to a printed format.

Upon graduating, I intend to open my own natural light studio where I can further refine my techniques and expand my photographic business. While this will be home based, I hope my future as a professional photographer will welcome a range of adventures in new places.
