Tara Henderson

My name is Tara Henderson and I am from Tully, North Queensland.

I consider my artistic strengths to lie in traditional illustration, yet I also have an interest in design. I have always been into the traditional mediums, illustration particularly. Design is something that over time has developed from a personal sense of curiosity to an avenue of creation within my art.

Animation and character development has always been something that thoroughly fascinated me. As I was growing up I would create characters that became more complex and defined over time, I still catch myself doing it now. Working in preliminary character development or story boarding scenes at somewhere like Pixar and Disney, is on my A-list. Another aspiration of mine is to work with or establish a multi skilled team, dedicated to creating the new and inspiring in; design, film, photography and web based technologies.

My Artwork is being created using a combination of traditional and digital mediums. Using Adobe InDesign, I have combined handmade original illustration with high definition photographs to create and emphasize a further depth of meaning behind the artwork.
